Slovenian pres. extends condolences on Ayat. departure

Belgrade, Jan 13, IRNA – Slovenian President Borut Pahor has in a message extended his condolences to President Hassan Rouhani on the demise of the late Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

'On behalf of Slovenia Republic, I express my deep regret and sorrow over death of Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, whom I honored to meet during official visit to Iran,' Pahor wrote.
He also extended condolences to Iranian nation as well as bereaved family of the late Rafsanjani on the sad occasion.
Ayatollah Rafsanjani passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, January 8, due to cardiac arrest caused by heart attack.
