Ambassador: Iran welcomes Afghan businessmen

Tehran, Feb 19, IRNA – Afghan Ambassador to Tehran Nasir Ahmad Nour said on Sunday that Iran welcomes Afghan businessmen and industrialists.

While visiting a dairy factory in Varamin, he said Iran and Afghanistan share many commonalities that can help broaden economic cooperation and sound interaction between the two countries.

'There are many Iranian companies in Afghanistan,' he said, adding that volume of Iranian-made products exported to Afghanistan exceeds $2.8 which proves the depth of economic cooperation between the two sides.

Iran is capable in production of agricultural products which can help bolster constructive interaction between Iran and Afghanistan, he said.
