Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Kazakhstan Prime Minister Sagintayev

03.04.2017 / Astana / Kazakhstan- TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was received by Kazakhstan Prime Minister Bagitcan Sagintayev in Astana, where the 5th Turkic Council Business meeting was held.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu shared the experiences of modernization of Turkey's customs offices at the meeting during which Abay Myrzahmedov, Chairman of the Chamber of National Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, was also present.

At the meeting, the reform efforts taken by the Kazakh government were reviewed.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that they had conducted a fairly productive meeting and noted that they entered a new era with Kazakhstan and that they regularly inform Kazakh authorities about the modernization of customs gates since 2013. Hisarcıklıoğlu also said that a technical delegation would conduct negotiations with Kazakh authorities on this subject.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Kazakhstan has taken the right steps to increase non-oil production and industrialization under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev and that Turkey continues to support these steps.
