Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Democracy and National Unity Day event 

15.07.2017 / Ankara- A ceremony was held with the participation of the public in the garden of the TGNA as a part of the July 15th Memorial Activities. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Parliament Speaker İsmail Kahraman addressed those present. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the ceremony with the presidents of Turkey-EU JCC Member NGOs.​

The events of the coup attempt were shown in a video presentation projected onto the Assembly. 250 flags brought from 81 provinces representing the martyrs were presented to President Erdoğan by two youths.
