Italian Special Envoy Bids Farewell to OIC Secretary General

18/12/2018- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, received at his office on Tuesday, 18 December 2018, Ms. Elisabetta Martini, Italian Consul General in Jeddah and the Italian Special Envoy to the OIC who was on a farewell visit to the OIC Secretariat.

During the meeting, the Secretary General and his guest had extensive exchange of views on shared issues and expressed their interest to remain engaged in strengthening Italy-OIC relations through fruitful cooperation.

Ms. Martini conveyed her thanks to the Secretary General for the support and cooperation she received from the OIC during her assignment. On his part, the Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the Special Envoy’s constant efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and wished her success for her next assignment.
