Iran embassy offers condolences to Pakistan over Parachinar attack
Islamabad, Jan 25, IRNA – Iranian embassy in Pakistan has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over terrorist incident in north western city of Parachinar, which led to death of 25 people and injured more than 87 others.
The embassy in a statement offered its condolences to the government and people of Pakistan over the sad incident and prayed that members of the bereaved families bear this loss with fortitude.
Earlier the spokesperson of Iranian foreign ministry had also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the terrorist attack.
At least 25 people were killed and over 80 injured last Saturday when a powerful explosion ripped through a crowded marketplace in Pakistan's northwestern city of Parachinar in Kurram tribal agency.
