Turkish plane makes emergency landing in Isfahan to save sick passenger
Isfahan, Feb 13, IRNA – Pegasus Turkish Airlines en route to Bahrain from Turkey made an emergency landing in Isfahan, central Iran, to save a sick passenger on board.
According to a report by Isfahan Shaheed Beheshti International Airport, the plane left Isfahan for Bahrain after the sick passenger received due medical treatments and was recovered.
Meanwhile, two other domestic flights heading to Tehran from Orumiyeh and Zahedan respectively were forced to land in Isfahan airport on Monday morning because of bad weather condition and low visibility situation at Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport.
Isfahan’s Shaheed Beheshti International Airport always accepts emergency landings of flights destined for Tehran due to bad weather condition or low visibility situations. On December 27, for instance, a number of 15 domestic and international flights landed at the airport for the same reasons.
