Azeri pres. calls for increasing working hours of border crossings with Iran

Baku, Feb 21, IRNA – Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in an order to develop tourism urged increasing the working hours of Azerbaijan's common borders with Iran.

State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and the Border Guard Command have been ordered to hold talks with Iranian side and also for taking the necessary measures to boost the working hours of border crossings, Azerbaijan presidency website reported.

Based on President Aliyev’s order, State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan and international port of Baku are to have negotiations with the Caspian Sea Littoral States to organize maritime tourism.

According to the order, an Azeri state institution has been ordered to pave the way for foreigners to get electronic visa at all border crossings.
