OIC Secretary General Receives the Ambassador of Romania

27/02/2017 - The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, received, at his office on Sunday, 26 February 2017, Mr. Mihai Coman, Ambassador of Romania to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting the Secretary General and his guest had useful and extensive exchange of views on various issues of common concern. The Ambassador handed over a letter addressed to the Secretary General by his Foreign Minister expressing Romania’s interest to work with the OIC to promote dialogue among cultures, peace and tolerance. Both sides agreed to institutionalize relations by taking concrete steps in the days ahead.

Dr. Al-Othaimeen expressed OIC’s interest to develop bilateral relations with Romania and assured the Ambassador of OIC’s support and cooperation during his assignment in the Kingdom.
