Rouhani congratulates new S. Korean president-elect

Tehran, May 13, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani, in a message on Saturday, congratulated the newly-elected South Korean President Moon Jae-in on his election to the post.

Rouhani expressed hope that during the South Korean new president’s tenure in office, Tehran-Seoul relations will deepen more than ever.

President Rouhani wished good health and success for the South Korean president-elect and prosperity for the country's people.

Moon Jae-in, 64, won 41% of the votes in last elections and was elected as the 19th president of South Korea.
