Kazakh president congratulates Iranian counterpart on re-election
Tehran, May 21, IRNA – Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev in a message on Saturday congratulated Hassan Rouhani on his re-election as the next president of Iran.
He also hoped that Rouhani re-election will help promote bilateral ties between Iran and Kazakhstan as before.
Referring to historic and cultural commonalities and good neighboring policy between the two countries, the Kazakh president voiced readiness for cooperating with Iran to help establish regional peace and boost all-out relations.
Incumbent President Rouhani was announced the winner of the May 19 presidential election winning over 23.7 million (57%) of total votes.
