Iran-Netherlands annual trade expected to rise 50% this year
Tehran Times | August 28, 2017- Iran’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Alireza Jahangiri announced that the annual trade between the two countries is expected to witness a 50-percent rise this year, IRIB news reported on Saturday.
Addressing a news conference in the Netherlands, Jahangiri referred to the expanding economic ties between the two sides as of the implementation of Iran’s nuclear deal (January 2016) and said that during the past almost two years, Tehran and Amsterdam have exchanged tens of economic, trade, and political delegations.
“Iran is ready to develop its economic bonds with European countries including the Netherlands,” he said, “Novel investment opportunities are available in Iran and the ground is set for inking new contracts.”
“Iran’s embassy in the Hague has tried to ease the way for the presence of Dutch investors in various Iranian economic sectors,” he added.
