Trade Mission to China
Monday, 04 September 2017 - For having stronger bilateral economic ties, on Monday, 4th September, 2017, the first Vice Chairman of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Khan Jan Alokozai, Mr. Saad Khateebi, president of Herat Chamber of commerce and industries and Mr. Zia Azizi, the international relations director of ACCI along with a high ranked government delegation under the leadership of Engineer Mohammad Khan, the first deputy Chief Executive of the government of Afghanistan visited Yang Zia city of the People’s Republic of China.
During these three days program, Afghan delegation visited many stalls and booths of China and Arab countries products such as agriculture machinery, Dairy products, solar energy equipment and green house fabricators. The main purpose of this visit was to get advantage from the experiences of host country in the sectors of agriculture, production industries and solar energy, as China has considerable progress in the mentioned sectors. The delegation invited these Chinese companies to invest in Afghanistan especially in the solar energy sector. Fortunately these companies expressed their interest to invest for the production of 50MW solar electric power plant in Afghanistan.
China, one of the growing economies with huge population in the world, needs all kind of natural and economic resources for its faster growth. For this purpose China is interested and trying to invest in the mining sector of Afghanistan. During last few years, considerable developments are made in the economic and business relations between the People’s Republic of China and Afghanistan. Making of the railroad between China and Afghanistan is one of the latest instances in this regard which has created new opportunities toward expansion of trade between two countries and has reduced the distance to safely carry business commodities from China to Afghanistan and vice versa.
