Iran beats South Korea in Volleyball 3-1
June 23, 2018 - The national Iranian men's volleyball team beat South Korea 3-1 in Tehran on Friday in 2018 FIVB World League.
The Iranian players defeated Korea in the first, third, and fourth sets 27-25, 25-22, and 25-23 respectively. In the second set, Korean players defeated Iran 25-23, IRNA reported.
The two teams were playing in the fifth week of the Federation Internationale de Vollleyball (FIVB) World League.
In the past 10 years, South Korea has never been able to win a game against Iranian volleyballers.
Iran, Germany, Bulgaria, and South Korea play in Tehran in the 5th week of the tournament. The games continue on Saturday and Sunday. In the second game on Friday, Bulgaria was defeated by Germany.
