OIC Deeply Saddened by the Tragic Plane Crash in Indonesia

29/10/2018- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragedy of Lion Air passenger plane with 189 people on board which crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

Secretary General, Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, expresses his condolences to His Excellency President Joko Widodo and the Indonesian people over the tragic incident. He also expresses his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and their loved ones.
