FMs of Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan discuss bilateral relations by telephone

08.03.2019- Bishkek, March 8, 20/19 / Kabar /. At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, a telephone conversation took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the telephone conversation, Minister Aidarbekov noted that Kyrgyzstan supports the efforts made in Afghanistan to establish peace in the country, which will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening regional security.
Discussing the issues on the agenda of Kyrgyz-Afghan cooperation, the sides reaffirmed their interest in enhancing bilateral political contacts, as well as the participation of delegations of Afghanistan at the appropriate level in major international and regional events scheduled for 2019 in Kyrgyzstan.
