Uzbekistan CCI hosts a meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador
21.03.2019- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Uzbekistan, Mehmet Süreyya Er.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues on development of bilateral trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey in mutual trade, tourism, as well as on the organization of joint events.
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Adkham Ikramov informed about the rich experience of cooperation between the CCI and Turkish organizations, in particular with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD), the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK), as well as international organizations the members of which include both countries.
According to Uzbekistan CCI, at the meeting, the head of the CCI also informed about the reforms carried out in the Chamber, its role in development of the country’s economy and support for entrepreneurs, as well as noted its readiness to assist in organizing joint events and visits for representatives of the business circles of the two countries regarding the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
