Qatar Chamber reviews trade cooperation with Tatarstan
The Peninsula | July 25, 2017- Qatar Chamber (QC) yesterday hosted the visiting business delegation from Tatarstan and discussed ways to enhancing bilateral cooperation between businessmen from both countries and other aspects in the
fields of trade and economy.
The meeting held at QC’s headquarters also explored investment opportunities in Tatarstan and the advantages granted to investors in agriculture, infrastructure and sports sectors in particular.
Talks also included the possibility of organising a meeting between Qatari and Tatarstan businessmen to discuss prospects of cooperation in the private sectors of both the countries and investment opportunities.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between both industry chambers of Qatar and Tatarstan, reports QNA.
Ali Abdulateef Al Misnad, Qatar Chamber’s Member and Honorary Treasurer, stressed on Qatar’s keenness to strengthen trade and economic cooperation worldwide, establish constructive economic relations with
Asian countries and diversify foreign investment.
In this context, Al Misnad expressed Qatar Chamber’s readiness to promote investment opportunities in Tatarstan among Qatari businessmen.
Tatarstan is one of the most economically developed the region.The republic is highly industrialised, and ranks second to Samara Oblast in terms of industrial production per square kilometres.
