Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan begin negotiations on duty-free deliveries of oil and oil products
21.01.2019- Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan began negotiations on duty-free deliveries of oil and petroleum products, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use reported.
The first stage of negotiations is underway to discuss a draft agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan on trade and economic cooperation in the field of oil and oil products supply.
According to the project under discussion, the Kazakh side is obliged to export products to Kyrgyzstan without duty in accordance with the approved indicative balance and protocol.
The indicative balance will be approved at the second stage of negotiations, which will take place in the next 5-6 days in Kazakhstan.
Control over the implementtion of the project is assigned from Kyrgyzstan to the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, from Kazakhstan to the Ministry of Energy. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use Jyrgalbek Sagynbayev represents the Kyrgyz side in the working group.
