IBA team creates awareness about National Development Strategy of promoting Entrepreneur (NDSPE) Mindset Among Pakistani Youth
(Karachi P.R. 24th January, 2018) Dr. Farrukh Iqbal, Dean & Director, IBA and Dr. Shahid Quresshi Director IBA CED of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) visited Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) and made a presentation on National Development Strategy of promoting Entrepreneur (NDSPE) Mindset Among Pakistani Youth, a program which is being undertaken by IBA across Pakistan for motivation / initiation and promotion of small / cottage level business. The presentation was attended by a large number of FPCCI members including Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, Senior Vice President, S. M. Muneer Former President FPCCI, Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Sami Khan, Shakil Ahmed Dhingra, Naheed Masood; Samir Mir, Noor Ahmed Khan etc.
During the presentation the representatives of the IBA described salient features of the program and said that it does not require any formal education and entry / admission test or other formalities. “This program is aimed at creating awareness amongst the youth to start their business with their resources and skills already available with them which leads towards self employment at large”, they added. They disclosed that the educated housewives are also getting benefit of this program and have started their own businesses from very small level and which has now flourished upto a larger extent. They informed that the objective of the program is to motivate the entrepreneurs, which are backbone of any economy, within their own resources.
Earlier, Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir Sr. Vice President FPCCI welcomed the representative of IBA and assured them full support in the endeavors for promotion of entrepreneurship in the general masses.
In response to the request for assisting IBA throughout Pakistan, S.M. Muneer offered FPCCI partnership with IBA in organizing the program throughout Pakistan with the help of its trade body members.
