OIC Secretary General Condemns the Suicide Attack that Targeted the Afghanistan’s Supreme Court in Kabul

08/02/2017 - The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the suicide blast outside the Supreme Court of Afghanistan in Kabul, Tuesday, 7th February 2017, leading to the death of at least 20 people and injuring scores of others.

The Secretary General extended his condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan as well as to the families of the victims over this tragedy and urged the government not to relent in its efforts of building the country and fighting terrorism.

He further reiterated the principled position of the OIC that vigorously denounces any and all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms and manifestations, just as it categorically rejects any justifications for terrorism.
