OIC Secretary General condemns suicide attacks in Afghanistan

17/10/2017- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned today’s suicide attacks in the eastern Afghan city of Gardes that killed at least 33 persons including women, children and police, and injured 160 others.

The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, Government and people of Afghanistan and wished quick recovery to the injured people.

The Secretary General further reiterated the OIC solidarity with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism and violent extremism.
