Pakistan, Turkey to augment defence industry capabilities
Times of Islamabad | October 4, 2018- Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to augment the defense industry capabilities.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Ambassador of Turkey Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul with Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal in Rawalpindi.
Speaking to the ambassador, Zubaida Jalal expressed Pakistan's strong desire to broaden and strengthen its partnership with Turkey in all fields including defence cooperation.
The Turkish ambassador lauded the statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the wake of economic crisis in Turkey.
Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador Yao Jing called on Minister for Defence Production Zobaida Jalal in Islamabad today.
The two sides discussed various aspects of cooperation in the field of defence production. The Minister stressed the need for closer cooperation with China in all fields.
