Uzbek CCI Industry held a meeting of the Expert Council on Tourism Development

on the goals and objectives of the Expert Council on Tourism Development.

On the possibilities of developing the provision of services to guest houses located in the rural areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the measures taken to regulate the activities of guest houses in the republic.

On the measures taken to develop ecological tourism.

Discussion of the draft resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to ensure accelerated socio-economic growth of regions through the development of domestic tourism".
During the Expert Council, the Representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan made a speech, noting that this meeting of the Expert Council will serve as a kind of a platform for discussing the existing problems on the development of tourism in rural areas of the republic by creating guest houses for the reception of foreign tourists.
Experts also discussed the draft resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to ensure accelerated socio-economic growth of regions through the development of domestic tourism."
The representative of Goskomtourisma of the Republic of Uzbekistan informed on the statistics of inbound and domestic tourism, about means of transportation.
The experts discussed the proposed projects in the sphere of tourism and expressed their wishes and proposals.
